The scene
Toronto is where the alleycat began, with the first races under the Alley Cat name held in the late 1980s. Today MayDay Toronto runs an early-May weekend of alleycats for the Bicycle Messenger Emergency Fund, Pussycat Toronto has run an alleycat for women riders, and Deep Water Races runs TO50, a self-supported 50 km run across the city each September.

How races get in here
The directory is curated by ALLEYKAT. Races timed on the app appear in their city on their own once they have a date or have been run, and everything else is added by hand after we have checked it against the organiser’s own page. There is no form and no fee.
