The next wave of racing: grassroots events, unsanctioned races, underground races, pop-up formats, community competitions, and race ideas that do not fit the old template.
Our mission is to support new races and new race formats and make timing and organizing those races super simple. Too many great race ideas die because the setup is too expensive, too manual, or too complicated. We want clubs, crews, and independent organizers to be able to put on something new without needing a giant operation behind it.
The next wave of racing: grassroots events, unsanctioned races, underground races, pop-up formats, community competitions, and race ideas that do not fit the old template.
Give first-time organizers a way to launch something real without heavy infrastructure.
Make space for unsanctioned, underground, and experimental race concepts that go beyond the standard road-race model.
Timing, route setup, and race organization should feel fast, clear, and lightweight from the start. No more volunteers standing at every waypoint: runners carry the app, and live GPS tracking validates each waypoint as they pass it.

A few of the races organizers have put on with ALLEYKAT, from an overnight ultra across New York City and a backyard ultra in Richmond to a 3K in Royal Oak.

Putting on a race, bringing ALLEYKAT to your crew, or stuck on something in the app? Send us a note and we’ll write back, or email xavier@alleykat.app.
