Unsanctioned races in Boston
Massachusetts, USA
Upcoming
No race in Boston has a confirmed date listed yet. The notable races below are the ones to watch for an announcement.
The scene
Boston’s unsanctioned races are bike alleycats, and most are announced on the bostonbikeevents.net calendar. Bike kitchens run the community ones: Somerville Bike Kitchen’s Babes Bike Boston, for women, trans and nonbinary riders, which ran again in September 2026, and its Cranksgiving food drive, and CommonWheels’ Allston Rat Race. Couriers run evening alleycats from Post Office Square and Black Falcon Avenue, Menace Cycling runs a fixed-gear tracklocross series in city parks from August to November, and Queers on Wheels has run a Drag Race Alleycat from the Hatch Shell.

How races get in here
The directory is curated by ALLEYKAT. Races timed on the app appear in their city on their own once they have a date or have been run, and everything else is added by hand after we have checked it against the organiser’s own page. There is no form and no fee.
