Cranksgiving Baltimore
The scene
Bikemore has hosted Baltimore’s Cranksgiving since 2015 and has run the Dog Cat Rat Race with the BARCS animal shelter each year since 2024, and most of the city’s recent alleycats are team alley rat races in which small teams collect checkpoint challenges for points, including the Flower Rat Race’s spring edition in 2025 and Psyclescape’s ZooBreak Alley Rat in 2026. On foot, the RIOT Squad Running crew held RIOT in the City, a free, unofficial 9.2-mile and 5K race, in May 2026.

How races get in here
The directory is curated by ALLEYKAT. Races timed on the app appear in their city on their own once they have a date or have been run, and everything else is added by hand after we have checked it against the organiser’s own page. There is no form and no fee.
