The scene
Amsterdam’s unsanctioned racing is bike-led and run by small crews: the Twelve Hour Alleycat calls itself the city’s annual bike scavenger hunt, a points race over more than 40 checkpoints from 10:00 to 22:00, and Damn 24 is a self-routed 24-hour alleycat between Twotone in Amsterdam and Bikes and Records in Rotterdam, with each rider carrying a tracker that records distance.

How races get in here
The directory is curated by ALLEYKAT. Races timed on the app appear in their city on their own once they have a date or have been run, and everything else is added by hand after we have checked it against the organiser’s own page. There is no form and no fee.
