Running from West Point to Ground zero as a memorial run to remember the ones who lost their lives 25 years ago during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Every few miles I’m going to stop and read a bio of someone who perished. I am also carrying a flag! I’m a USMC Operation Iraqi Freedom combat veteran. I have one other definite for this memorial run and he’s a law enforcement officer. The route is 56 miles and the plan is to do this self supported without any proper aid stations but gas stations and convenience stores along the way. This is a memorial run to remember the lost and not a race.
